I'd like to ride up there, anyone wants to join me? I think I'll go up Pape to Millwood to Laird to Eglington to Leslie to Elgin. Meet at Tim Ho's at Leslie and Lakeshore at 5?

Dan,
Do you think I could do it? To ride up with Michael and then with the group?

does anyone want to do an easier ride tomorrow?

Hey Amanda, I have faith in you. :) I'll see you at 5. (Better bring extra water though, eh.) I promise I wont go too fast, mostly cause I can't. ;)

I will be riding up as well, but from my (near the zoo) end of the city. Might see you on Elgin Mills Michael.

Cancel that I checked the map...See you at Victoria Square Park Michael.

Better not tell Dan that I haven't memorised the Map yet. Made a cheat sheet instead ;-)

This afternoon as I was walking down some stairs my knees nearly gave way on me. Dan I am holding you personally responsible for organizing this amazing club/ride for which I have completely busted my knees (today's ride) and lost three inches of waste line (this club), thanks a lot, as if biking wasn't expensive enough now I have to buy new pants! :-)

I had a great time and I am going to really miss... well, everything really, for the next few weeks. I'll see if I can start doing the Steady States again on July 26. (With arm twisting I might be willing to ride out to the starting point when its not more than 50 or 60k for the Sunday rides, starting on the 27'th.)

This isn't the most blazing fast website out there, but I managed to figure out how to load my GPS data onto a publicly viewable site. You can see today's ride info here:

Just to update anyone who was wondering. I am alive and made it home for the birthday party.

And I own all this to Nick who did two much appreciated things for me: 1. Rode with me for the last painful kms. 2. Gave me a lift back to the far east of the city.

Once, there I realised that I was mere kms for the magic 160, so I finished my first century today in 6 hours and 5 minutes at the blazing average speed of 26.3 km/hr.

Thanks to everyone for all the pulls :-)

Brian

Thanks for all the fantatic organizing Dan!
