Steady State Saturday July 5th 2008 - Meet @ 6:30AM Tim Hortons(Lakeshore/Leslie)

Since it was rained out last week, I am reposting for this week.

I will not be there so riders, please read the map and the notes below:

A little trip up to Marylake Monastery and back. There is a 60km bailout point for people who need to get back early. Leaves at 6:30 AM from Timmy Ho's Lakeshore and Leslie and back to Darkhorse for espresso.Bring food and drink. 3 feed stations en route, but no stopping. http://www.bikely.com/maps/bike-path/Marylake-Monastery157945

• For those of you that do not wish to do the whole route, turn off at Bayview and head home.
• The entrance to the Monestary is through stone gates at the corner of 15th sideroad and Keele.
• You can ride into the Monestary and back along the same treed road or ride past the church down to 15th and back to Keele.
• You have 2 options for coming back to the city: Ride down Keele to Langstaff (traffic, lots of lights) or back along 15th to Dufferin (almost no lights, but you have to do some rollers again). The route currently directs you down Keele.
