Steady State Saturday - Taper Continues

86 KM on Saturday, continuing our taper into the August charity ride and race season. We'll ride steady and do a few intervals in Markham (as long as 1 rotation of the paceline), but otherwise keep it steady and bunched together. Bring enough food and drink for the 86 KM. We'll stop briefly for more fluids if we need to, but otherwise this is non-stop.

Starts at Timmy Ho's at 6:30AM, Lakeshore and Leslie, ends at Darkhorse Espresso Bar, Queen Street just west of Broadview.

First one to Darkhorse buys me coffee.

Hey Paul,

I will not be on this Saturday's ride. This is my last big weekend of riding before Tour 4 Kids (Aug 14-17). So I will be riding to Barrie & back (starting at Elgin Mills & Woodbine) this Saturday.

A few more long rides on Sun & Mon. Then taper down.

Have a great ride,

Arn
p.s. i really enjoyed last Saturday's ride up & down Hamilton Mountain. You did a great job of keeping the group together. Thanks.

Here are the stats that I have from today's ride:

Top sustained speed: 56km/h.
Total distance: 84.5km
Peak Elevation: 250m

If I can resolve the issue with Mapmyride.com I will post the GPS data on my blog here.
