GREAT RIDE! It was well worth the early morning wake up call for that ride. Congrats to all those that completed the 160 but word is that Lauri is still out there somewhere and Evan is doing the Zoo Loop as I write this. Jeff, thanks for being our tour guide, glad you joined us and hopefully we will see you again. Chris and Charles, welcome, hopefully you'll be out more often. Finally, Dan, sorry for yelling at you on the cell phone - I promise to be more sensitive to your feelings in the future.

See you in a couple of weeks (JTjr is racing at Horseshoe next weekend.)

Great ride! Smooth roads and not much traffic but the group looked fantastic in our full "kit". Well done to all those involved in bringing that to fruition. That was one fast 100km...perhaps the fastest this year and most enjoyable.

Thanks everyone for taking it easy on the way back from Oakville. Dropping below 40 was a real treat!

Hope to get out to do it again next week.

Hey Dan, GREAT PICS!!!

My kids and dinner guests loved them. What an incredible group of cyclists! Ride hard, talk and laugh the whole way. Now that is what cycling is all about.

Thanks again Dan for the pictures and the rest of the gang for a memorable ride!

Hello BCC folks,

Thank you very much for making Charles and I feel part of the club on our rides this weekend.

Very cool bunch of people, great organization and super ride options, and I look forward to riding with you guys next time I am in the city.

PS - I anyone can pass on an Email address for James that would be great. We are going to be suffering on the Death Ride together and I want to make sure we connect during the ride sometime.

Best thoughts,

Chris Bryce

I'll be having bad dreams this week about Rattlesnake. Good thing I had some dark shades on so no one could see my eye's popping out of my head, although I am sure my gasping for air could be herd from three miles away. Another Great Ride with a Great Group!

P.S. the Speedy Steve thing is just down right mean! You buggers!

Thanks all for a real leg burner.. my knees still hurt, although that might be from helping my friend move the day before (last time I do something that dumb.) Sorry I held you speed-demons up. That was, mostly, an awesome ride (except for the part where all you guys were disappearing way off in front of me).

Some stats:
Number of times yelled at by Timothy employees in Oakville: 2
Total water consumed: 3 bottles
Total Glutamine since return: 4 tsps.
Previous PB (distance): 125km
Total distance (this ride): 154.0km.

FYI, just heard a guy in the elevator at the office, bragging about the Niagara falls ride. He said he maintained a steady 28k "except on the hills of course". (He also elected to spend the night in an inn, instead of the supplied tents with porta-potties.) - Thought you'd want to know.
