Nice Ride All! - a bit painfull but nice. I think "nice" could turn into something more spectacular as time dulls and erodes the pain which is still fresh in my mind and body.
I think Dan summed it up best with "How many more Hills?". Those rollers/grinders seemed to break me down (both mental and physical). That new stretch from Webb to Wagg on 2nd conc. offered even more of the same with more awesome scenery which did help to momentarily divert my attention away from my yearning desire to get off my bike and lie down on that patch of grass, gravel or hell, even in the middle of the road!
Did not get to say good bye to many of as I buggered off early and limped on home. I'll be away next weekend. Hope everyone has far to much food and drink and best of times with your family and friends.
Cheers!
Great ride....Dan obviously was having an easy time of it as evidenced by his big smile!! Brock road is always a slog...if anyone knows of an alternate route aound this stretch let me know.
GO LEAFS GO!!
