Hi Scott,
I'm a triathlete looking for a group ride. I'm free for Thurs AM zoo ride Apr 17.
I'll drop by store at main and kingston re membership.
M
Hey Michael,
Membership is separate from the store.
Try the Ride, See if you like it and I'll follow up with membership later.
Cheers,
Dan.
Sorry to bother you but I have a couple of questions. Stumbled across this site, so know next to nothing about these rides.
1. How many people would you expect for the rides? I see you ask people to post a reply if they can attend but very few people reply, I assume more than 1 or 2 show up?
2. Are there any stops on the shorter (2-2.5hr) loops?
3. Do I have to be a member or have a licence to join these rides?
Thanks,
Scott F
i am all for secret trainings.
it's going to be a good ride. i will
be there
Hi Scott,
Cannot ride Tuesday morning but will try for Thursday. Hope you have the wind at your back this time out.
David
Hey Scott F.,
Last week we had 5 People show up. It's all dependent on each individual's schedule. Scott G. is a member of the BCC and members have the ability to host and post rides. He is inviting anyone who wants to ride to come out to join him on a ride he would normally do on his own. One of the Fundamentals of the BCC is to network cycling enthusiasts who wouldn't normally have met.
There are not usually any breaks for a 2-2.5hour intermediate ride.
As for membership. I have affiliated the club with the Ontario Cycling Association to keep things legitimate(ie Insurance). Details on the membership can be found on the "2008 Membership" in the Blog Content on the right column.
Cheers,
Dan.
